Help Ignite A World Of Change

Give Now and Change a Life

If we don’t disrupt the model, poverty and all its tragic symptoms, will expand and steal more lives. The world is changing. Poverty can end in our lifetime. Our proven model works. Our only limitations are financial. With your help, we can lift millions of women and theirs sons and daughters out of poverty forever. We can spark the potential that lives in all of us and help people help themselves. Please give now and send SBS to new communities to change lives forever.

The Spark Society is a group of supporters who annually contribute $1,000 or more to Street Business School (SBS). In honor of the “spark” that entrepreneurs feel when they realize their inner potential at SBS training, the Spark Society champions women working to lift themselves and their families out of poverty forever

Throughout the year, we participate in a variety of giving opportunities, both in person and digitally. Becoming a matching donor will allow us to leverage your gift and our impact during specific events; for example: #GivingTuesday or International Philanthropy Day. Join us in amplifying our impact.

The SBS Bursary gift is US$5,000 and allows donors to help fund the partnership between SBS and another NGO, ultimately funding two organizations with one gift. This investment lowers the certification fee from US$5,000 to as low as US$1,500 and subsidizes 100% of SBS’s direct costs in the partner’s training. Ultimately, a Bursary donor is helping bring SBS into a new community through this innovative scholarship model.

OUR THANKS

We are so inspired by you, our donors. You walk with us and give us the confidence to help others. To see a complete list of amazing donors at the Spark Society level and higher, please visit our Annual Report. From our hearts to yours, thank you for helping us ignite the potential in women and children around the world.

A word from our founder.

As inspiring as it is to see women triple their income, even more transformational is seeing the fire of human dignity.

Donor Testimonials

The Schooner Foundation

Cynthia Ryan - Schooner Foundation

“Empowering women through entrepreneurship creates change for families and communities. Street Business School partners with local women to develop their entrepreneurial skills, build their confidence and increase their financial literacy creating an innovative, achievable, and scalable pathway out of poverty. The Schooner Foundation is proud to be a funding partner for SBS and their proven expansion initiative.”

Georgia Welles

Georgia Welles is an inspiration. In her eighties, she is still an avid supporter of the arts and fly fishes regularly. She relentlessly advocates for conservation and smart approaches to social change. It’s this quality and her acumen and moxie that makes Georgia an incredible partner to SBS. Just recently, she doubled her support and made her second, three-year commitment to support the expansion of SBS. We are honored to have dynamic supporters like Georgia.

SDL Foundation

“SDL Foundation is proud to continue our funding, partnership and friendship with Street Business School. The passion to 'ignite the potential in 1 million women' of SBS employees, volunteers, alumni, GCP’s and the women who are changing their lives is outstanding. We are privileged to be a part of SBS’s legacy and look forward to the next steps of their incredible life-changing work in Africa and beyond.”

Segal Family Foundation
